SHAYNA & JOSHUA

Sometimes your person has been right there all along. 🥹✨

Shayna and Joshua grew up in the same community, went to the same church, and had known of each other for years… but it wasn’t until Joshua booked a dental cleaning and just so happened to end up in Shayna’s chair that their love story really began. 😂🦷🤍

Fast forward to their wedding day, surrounded by the people and places that have been part of their story from the very beginning. From their emotional vows and all the quiet little moments in between, to one seriously fun celebration... their day was romantic, joyful, sentimental and so completely them.

Getting to bring their story back to life through film has been such a special one, and I’m SO excited to finally share Shayna + Joshua’s full wedding film. 🥹🎥✨

Not the typical faces I usually photograph, but when I spotted these three black bears fishing for salmon in the river yesterday, I definitely had to stop and admire them from afar... with my camera in hand of course. 📸🐻✨

Such an incredible little Vancouver Island moment to witness, especially surrounded by all those dreamy fall colours. 🥹🍁

A little reminder to always respect our wildlife, keep a safe distance, and give them plenty of space to do their thing. 🐻

Natasha & Mitch 💍✨

Their very first date was at the beach with poke bowls in hand… only to realize they forgot the chopsticks. 😅🙈 So Mitch improvised, found a couple little driftwood twigs, and just like that… West Coast chopsticks were born. 😂🥢

So obviously, we had to recreate a little piece of that first date during their engagement session with a cozy beach picnic, poke bowls + their very own homemade chopsticks. 🥹🤍

It may have been an overcast evening, but the soft light made for the dreamiest, most romantic beach session. 🌊✨

I’m sooo excited to have these two back in front of my camera to capture their wedding day next summer!! 🥹💍🤍

Annie & Amrith | 08.29.26 🤍

These two met while working at the same hotel in Toronto, Annie in Food & Beverage and Amrith in Front Office. After a little encouragement from Annie’s best friend to start flirting with the handsome new coworker, Amrith reached out to her about a bouquet she had arranged for a guest… and the rest is history.

Nine months later, Annie booked a solo trip to India to meet his family… and Amrith booked a ticket too. ✈️🇮🇳 What followed was a love story spanning countries, cultures and a year and a half of long distance before eventually bringing them home to Canada together. ❤️🇨🇦

From Toronto to India to the place Annie was adopted and raised, their wedding day was a beautiful collision of two worlds, centred around the thing that means the most to them both: family. 🥹✨
