Boeing 717 N491HA of Hawaiian Airlines on final approach to Lihue airport in Hawaii in May of this year. Delivered new to Hawaiian in 2003, the 717 is becoming rare indeed in the skies as both Delta Airlines and Hawaiian have plans to retire their fleets in the near future. Hawaiian's 717's in particular are true workhorses averaging over 11 rotations per day.

2 CF-188 Hornets in a parade pass at the 2026 Abbotsford Airshow Friday twilight show. Interestingly two squadrons are represented here with the front aircraft 188748 from 409 Tactical Fighter Squadron and the rear aircraft 188035, an ex-Royal Australian Airforce bird from 410 Tactical Fighter Operational Training Squadron, both from 4 Wing Cold Lake Alberta.

Canadian Forces Snowbirds Numbers 8 and 9 showing how it's done at the 2026 Abbotsford International Airshow. I had the chance to have a great chat with both Thomas and Marc-Andre at the Ronald McDonald House chalet where the entire team dropped by to meet with the families that came out from the House to watch the show. What amazing ambassadors for Canada.

Bell 412CF C-FYZT arriving at Abbotsford International Airshow on August 7, 2025 after a long cross country from 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School at Portage la Prairie Southport Airport in Portage la Prairie Manitoba. Formerly a RCAF CH-146 Griffon (146451), this airframe was one of nine Griffon's turned over to KF Defence Programs for helicopter pilot training.
