This is home. This is our home.
About 7 months ago we packed up the life we built in the community of Milton and headed 2 hours north to Collingwood. We’d done our research, we knew this was the type of community we wanted to be part of, to live and work here. To have our children grow up here. To give them some semblance of the childhood we grew up with, where schools were smaller, community was more important, and everything moved ever so slowly. Like many we had found ourselves running a million miles an hour, jamming our schedules and our kids schedules, often overlooking important things in life, like actually connecting, talking, being one with our natural world. But that all changed here. You can’t ignore nature here even if you tried. Her beauty is everywhere and she is always open to those that want to reconnect with her. The community, both personal and business, is tight knit yet so welcoming and supportive. And did I mention that 7 months here have been fantastic to mine and Kasia’s 15 year marriage. No surprise that being happy in our new community has spilled over into every part of our lives. It was extremely difficult to pack up and move away from family, friends, and the life we had built but I would do it all again in a heartbeat because this is home. This is our home.
