Here’s a family that has been with me from the beginning and I look forward to our sessions together. These four kids are just so fun and polite and sweet with each other and it’s been so much fun watching them grow from year to year.

And yes, I started using this little corner of my dad’s field a lot this fall because its leaves stayed so pretty for so long!

This was take two with this sweet little family. We had to postpone our first session because the mosquitos were too bad IN SEPTEMBER, but it worked out because we were absolutely blessed by the light of this October evening. I also brought along a wheelbarrow which clearly made everything more fun.

Today I’ll be doing my final session of busy season. I’m so thankful for the wonderful weather we’ve had and we still have a few leaves on the trees!

This family knocks it out of the park every time, and I’m convinced that they always get the best weather because of it. I can’t explain it, but that’s just how it goes.

Analytical, energetic, quick to laugh and easy to love. My Louie turned 5 last month. He’s always keeping up to his big sister so he’s always felt a bit older and, although dreaded, this transition in number has felt a long time in coming. This guy wears his heart on his sleeve and lives his life with no in-betweens. We love him and like him and couldn’t imagine life without him (it’d be quieter but not as interesting).
