With 120cm of fresh snow after a major snowstorm, it was one of the best days of ⛷️!!

Paradise is not always summery or tropical- it can be frozen too 🙂!!

Dingboche, Everest Base Camp Trek

The final village situated at 4400 metres on the EBC circuit where you can get last decent meal and sleep. But when you have views like this, eating dal-bhat for 6 days and also no shower for the same duration become irrelevant!!

The “Mountain High” from seeing some of the highest peaks in the world is very real.

Four giants visible in one pic:

From your left to right-

1. Lho La - 6006 metres- not a separate summit but part of the Mt. Everest massif. It’s the west shoulder/saddle of Everest.

2. Mt. Everest

3. Lhotse - 8516 metres - the 4th highest peak
In the world barely visible and hidden behind Nuptse and sharing the same col with Everest.

4. Nuptse - 7861 metres.

The is the probability the most beautiful suspension bridge among the many suspension bridges that I crossed - this one is just before Pangboche Monastery coming down from Dingboche. Both eastern and western summits of Mt. Ama Dablam are visible on a bluebird day with Dudh Koshi river flowing below.
