A weekend by the ocean to fill my soul 🤍

A gentle reminder that embodiment isn’t something we perform, but something we LIVE ..in the way we connect, show up in this world and inhabit our everyday lives.

As we move closer to gathering with Jules at the end of the month, I’m feeling into the importance and beauty of sharing our real lives and witnessing one another in our unfolding.

Perhaps it begins simply by showing up as we are, sharing our truth, and honouring that RIGHT NOW, IT’S LIKE THIS ✨

Last nights sunset 😍

A reminder that what we want to bring more of into the world can begin in how we embody it, right here and now.

More presence. More stillness. More wonder. More room to receive the beauty. Not just speaking about the life we want to live, but living it.

WHY WE’RE GATHERING

Because there are parts of us worth remembering, and, because we need it too.

We all carry stories….stories that have shaped us, stretched us, softened us, and sometimes asked us to become someone we were never meant to be. And beneath the roles, responsibilities and expectations, there is still the woman underneath it all.

Jules Blaine Davis writes about how “women go missing in their lives.”

We know how easy it is.

We disappear into motherhood, partnership, work, caretaking, achievement and the beautiful busyness of everyday life. Not because we’ve lost ourselves completely, but because sometimes the quieter parts of who we are simply get harder to hear.

This gathering is an invitation to listen again. To come back to your body, your stories, your voice and the parts of yourself that have been waiting for a little more space. Time to explore what you are hungry for.

We believe in the kind of magic that doesn’t ask you to become someone new.
It helps you remember who you already are.

So we’re gathering around stories, food, movement, conversation, creativity and connection and creating space to be witnessed, to laugh, to feel, to wonder, and to see ourselves reflected in one another.

A day to step outside the noise.
A day to come back home to ourselves.

For the woman who feels the pull toward something deeper.
For the woman who is curious about what’s next.
For the woman who knows there is more to her story.

Come as you are. There is nothing to prove. Just a little more of yourself to remember.

We lost our first child at 24 weeks.
Our only daughter, Libby.

For more than 15 years, I carried the ache of losing her somewhere deep inside. I tucked away the heartbreak, kept moving and I became a mother again, and again, and again.

And somewhere along the way, I created a story that the anxiety I felt every day was because of losing her. I allowed that anxiety to stay for far too long because, in some strange way, it felt tethered to her. If I let the anxiety go, would I somehow be letting her go too?

It felt familiar, so I gave it space. I also gave myself permission to show up half-way in my life, until something started to shift. I began to feel and sit with, what I had spent so many years trying to avoid.

The grief.
The longing.
The love.
The anger.
The tenderness.
All of it.

And slowly it brought me back to myself. Because underneath all that grief, there was something else waiting for me.

A hunger.
A hunger for life.

And not a life without pain, but a life that was lighter. More alive. I could carry her with me without carrying the belief that I had to be afraid forever. I could honour her by living bigger.

And this is part of why bringing “RIGHT NOW, IT’S LIKE THIS” to our community feels so deeply personal to me. Jules and Lindsay are two women I respect deeply, and I feel incredibly honoured to be doing this alongside them. They both showed up in my journey at pivotal points, and I hold so much gratitude for them.

Together, we are creating a space to explore the stories we carry, and to notice what is actually here….right now in this breath, in this body, in this moment.

Because sometimes, on the other side of the feeling we’ve spent years avoiding, is the life that has been waiting for us. And for me, that life began to whisper and continues to whisper…there is more. More love, presence, joy, lightness and life.

So come as you are. Bring the parts of you that are tired, afraid, or have been holding on for a very long time. Bring the story you’ve been living inside. And maybe, together, we can become curious about what exists beyond it.

Because right now, it’s like this.
And this life is still asking us to say YES.

NOW, IT’S LIKE THIS. 🤍

A day to come back home to ourselves.

On October 24, we’re gathering with Jules Blaine Davis, coming all the way from California to BC, alongside Devon and Lindsay, for a day of deep work, movement, nourishment, connection, creativity and honest conversation.

Jules brings her work around hunger, healing, food and coming home to ourselves. Lindsay brings movement, embodiment and the nervous system. Devon brings the art of seeing and capturing what is real.

Together, we’re creating space to pause, feel, become, and get a little more curious about what we’re hungry for next.

Jules is travelling from California to be here with us. She is a TED speaker and has been in private practice, holding retreats and gathering women for over 15 years. An opportunity like this doesn’t come around often!

We are so excited to share with you.

October 24 | 10AM–4PM | BC

Come as you are.
Come hungry for more.
Come home to yourself.

“What are we really hungry for?” ~Jules Blaine Davis

Have you asked yourself that question recently?

What’s underneath all the stories we carry, the titles we hold and conditioning that has settled so deep, deep within us.

Is it the longing for connection, freedom, creativity, intimacy, being witnessed……maybe it’s simply the exhale, maybe it’s rest?

“RIGHT NOW, IT’S LIKE THIS” is a day focus on the hunger and get closer to it. You don’t need to arrive with answers, you simply need to bring the hunger. We will hold the rest together 🤍

WHO WE ARE 🤍

What happens when three women, three different gifts, and one shared intention come together?
RIGHT NOW, IT’S LIKE THIS.

✨ Jules Blaine Davis is joining us from California. Author of The Kitchen Healer, Jules is a gifted storyteller, teacher, and guide. Having her here with us in person, in an intimate setting, right here in our community…is a rare opportunity.

Jules invites us to look beyond what we think we need and listen for what we’re really hungry for. Her work brings nourishment, home, connection, and the everyday into a deeper conversation about how we care for ourselves and one another.

🌿 Lindsay Barton, founder of WILDE WELLNESS, brings movement, embodiment, breath, nervous-system awareness, and intuition while creating space to slow down, feel, and reconnect to each other, the land and most importantly ourselves.

📷 Devon Hall, photographer and artist, brings a deeply intuitive approach to portraiture. She has a gift for seeing beyond the surface and capturing women in their truth, softness, strength, presence, and the moments in between. Her work isn’t about creating a version of ourselves we think we should be. It’s about being witnessed, exactly as we are.

Together, we’re creating something that isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming back to who you are.

A day of movement, nourishment, conversation, reflection, connection, and being witnessed.

October 24 • 10am–4pm

A day to slow down.
A day to reconnect.
A day to come back home to ourselves.
