This one felt special.

As someone who has played violin most of my life (and treasures her heirloom violin the same), this session felt especially close to home. There’s something inspiring about photographing something you’ve loved your whole life, in someone else’s story. Her inquiry was an a resounding YES. And I really feel like I poured a little extra piece of myself into this session.

We did a little indoor + outdoor magic, and I sent her gallery off this morning with what feels like a hundred little gems. It’s one of those galleries I’m genuinely so proud of.

Her portraits are private, but she graciously gave me permission to share a little sneak peek— feeling very inspired by this one. 🎻
