My second branding session with Alex from Plants Become Art had us focusing more on client consultation, care and connection in the imagery for her new website.

Alex and I have been talking for a long time about collaborating together. With the launch of a new website on the horizon it was finally time to get her in front of my camera.

Owner and Operator of .become.art , Alex’s Business is rooted (see what I did there… 🤣) in sustainable and mindful gardening.

The first of two sessions together, this one focuses on Alex’s deep connection to the earth and also…well… how beautiful she is 😉❤️

My Moments in Motherhood ❤️

Today is Shauna’s Birthday.

However the day holds so much more.

Two years ago after a bilateral mastectomy and removing six lymph nodes she got the call from the doctor saying that the tumor and lymph node margins were all clear.

Pulled over on the side of the highway Shauna breathes a deep sigh of relief and today on the anniversary of that day, the start of hopefully a third year of being cancer free.

Shauna bravely asked me to capture her in the fall of last year.
The last time I photographed her was after she found out she had cancer and before she went in for surgery.

I was able to see the resilience in her then, and I see the resilience radiating through her now.

A stunningly beautiful reminder that pain and beauty can co exist together.

You are incredible my friend 💗
