I just wanted to pop on here and give a brief update as to why I may have been harder to reach the last couple of days. 💕
For those of you who don’t know, last November my daughter Remi was born with a small lipoma on her lower back and then with further investigation from the neurosurgeon at the IWK, it was confirmed to be Lipomyelomeningocele (a form of Spina Bifida). In the last months Remi has dealt with some ongoing medical troubles and then in the last few days it had shifted. Remi suffered what the doctors believe to be a seizure late last night and after taking her to the emergency department, she was admitted and then taken for a CT of her head today. The CT showed some infection in her brain. Remi is currently stable and doing well, she’s smiling and acting her normal self.
Tomorrow morning she is being transferred to the IWK for further testing and treatment. Upon arrival to the IWK, Remi will be getting an MRI on her head to get a clearer image as to what is happening. Then her neurosurgeon and the infectious disease team will discuss with us what the next steps are as far as treatment for this infection.

As for my clients, all sneak peeks and confirmation emails are on hold right now. Gallery returns may be delayed as well. I apologize deeply, however my daughter is my sole priority at this time and I’m sure you understand. ❤️🩹
