Did you know Point Prim Lighthouse was the first built lighthouse in PEI ?

It was built in the year 1845, nearly 30 years before PEI joined Confederation. The structure is tapered cylindrical brick structure layered with wooden shingles. It’s one of the only two in Canada of its type.
