With potato harvest nearing its end, we had the opportunity to capture some shots of Greenfield Farms in Greenfield, New Brunswick. Crews were working hard to gather the remaining crop before the rain settled in later in the week.

With the dry conditions this fall, it’s made for an excellent harvest season, allowing many farmers to finish up earlier than usual.

Pictured here are Graeham Greene, Shawn Hamilton, Peter Carlisle, and the rest of the gang digging right close to home.

Fisher Farms wrapping up the day late last evening in the Summerfield area. This was the last row to be harvested before calling it a night!

With several nights of heavy frost lately, mornings have been off to a slower start for many farmers. Despite the chill, it’s been a great fall overall, dry conditions and clear skies have made for a smooth harvest (even if it’s been a little dusty at times!). 🚜🍂

🚧 Florenceville-Bristol Route 130 Bridge - Weekend Closures Underway 🚧

The first of five scheduled weekend closures on the Route 130 bridge in Florenceville-Bristol, NB, is now underway. The next closure is set to begin this Friday, July 25th at 6:00 PM 1800 hrs - reopening on Monday July 28th at 0600hrs.

As shown in the photos, crews are currently installing steel support beams along the edges of the bridge to reinforce and stabilize the structure. This work is essential to strengthening the outer portions of the bridge deck.

To safely position these heavy beams, a boom truck with extended outriggers must operate directly on the main travel lane. For safety reasons, that lane must be fully closed while this work is completed.

We recognize this is an inconvenience, but closing the bridge over five weekends is far less disruptive than a full closure for five full weeks during the work week. The good news? If all goes according to plan, this long-awaited project - nearly a decade in the making, will be complete by November... hopefully.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as this critical work moves forward. Safer, smoother travel is on the horizon!

What a Weekend at the 36th Annual Centreville Truck & Tractor Pull!

Despite a weekend of unpredictable weather, and almost calling off Saturdays pull, the Centreville Chamber of Commerce, dedicated volunteers, and an incredible group of pullers came together once again to pull off another unforgettable event!

This year’s 36th Annual Truck & Tractor Pull saw competitors from across Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and several U.S. states, showcasing raw power and unmatched skill. The energy was electric as engines roared, dirt flew, and the crowd cheered on their favorites throughout the weekend.

Since the pulls humble beginnings back in 1989 at the old rail yard site, the pull has come a long way-and transitioned to the Western Valley Multi Plex in 2019 . Since then it has only taken things to the next level. This year’s event featured more than just thrilling pulls. Visitors enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere with food trucks, local vendors, and a licensed bar, making it a full weekend experience for families, fans, and first-timers alike.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event- whether you were cheering from the stands, hauling down the track, or helping behind the scenes. This event continues to grow because of the heart and horsepower of our amazing community. Also thank you to the Western Valley RCMP for keeping our community and pullers safe over the weekend!

We're excited and can’t wait to see you all again in 2026 for the 37th!
