Every session I've done at the fire hall has been for family, which just tells you that the passion for firefighting is strong in this crew!

This one is extra special - Violet graduates in a few weeks, and as a first responder, it was a no-brainer to start here with the final installation of her grad photos.

Congratulations Violet - you know exactly who you are, and you have since you were a preschooler ;) A big and bright future stretches ahead of you and we can't wait to watch it unfold!

A small business update!

Effective immediately, my prices for MILEAGE will be increasing to cover the ever-rising cost of gas. For sessions outside of my immediate area, I need to increase these charges to cover my travel costs.

I've kept my session prices the same for the third year in a row despite inflation, and they won't be going up this year. Mileage will increase based on increased travel costs but as always, you're more than welcome to come to me and avoid that charge altogether :)

Also, a reminder that if you have won a giveaway or a gift certificate through an online auction, those are specifically for Fredericton Junction. We can certainly discuss other options but they are subject to a travel fee.

Many photographers out there characterize their business as a hobby or side hustle, but for me (and loads of others), this is a career built on years of experience and investment. I LOVE my job, I'm worth every penny ;) and I also very much understand that people have budgets in this wild economy. I'll never be upset with potential clients who are budgeting less than what I charge. Everyone has different priorities! This is why I want to be clear on increased travel costs.

Thank you for sticking with me all these years - I've said it for the entire 16 years I've been doing this: I have the BEST clients. Thank you for your understanding and for making me feel so loved!

Fall is my busiest season, but have you considered summer? Yeah, there's mosquitoes and it's hot. It's also got a certain stillness, long delicious sunsets, no runny noses, a variety of light, endless wildflowers, lushness everywhere. Let's book something!

It's been nearly a year since I shared personal photos to this page, something I used to do frequently. These days with two teenagers are not as visually varied as they used to be ;) but here are some from the past year. When I started this page in 2010, Charlie was turning 3 and Rosie was just a hope! Now they're 18 and 14. Thanks for following along as they've grown, and as my photography has ❤️
