Ronan Burns | Class of 2026🎓

A couple of years ago I met the Burns family while capturing his older sister’s graduation, so I was thrilled to be invited back to celebrate Ronan’s big milestone. It’s always such an honour when families trust me to capture these special moments more than once.

This session definitely tested our patience with Mother Nature! We had to reschedule more than once thanks to pouring rain, but it was so worth the wait. Ronan looked incredibly sharp in his brown suit, and incorporating the trucks made the session feel even more personal and true to who he is.

Congratulations, Ronan! Wishing you all the best in this exciting next chapter.

Katrina + Brent 🤍

Some weddings just have a way of making you feel the love in every moment, and Katrina and Brent’s was exactly that. These two are absolutely smitten with each other, and it showed in every glance, every laugh, and every quiet moment they shared.

They tied the knot on Katrina’s family farm, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. It was the perfect setting for such a heartfelt day.

From start to finish, this group was an absolute dream to work with—easygoing, organized, and so much fun. It made documenting their day feel effortless, and I’m so grateful I got to be a small part of such a beautiful celebration.

Congratulations, Katrina and Brent! Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and countless happy memories together. 🤍

Samantha + Cauy 🤍

Some sessions just feel extra special, and this was definitely one of them.

I met Sam and Cauy during our time in Hudson Bay through senior hockey, and somewhere between all the weekends spent cheering on the Hunters, we became fast friends. Even though we weren’t making those road trips together, we were constantly texting and Snapchating throughout the season, sharing the excitement, the wins, and all the hockey chaos.

I still remember Sam telling me she had started dating Cauy like it was yesterday. Now here we are, celebrating their engagement, and I honestly couldn’t be happier for them.

It’s such an honour to be trusted to capture milestones like this, especially for people who have become such great friends. Congratulations, you two! I can’t wait to see what this next chapter has in store. 🤍

Ninke De Klerk | Class of 2026🤍

Some sessions just feel like stepping into a fairytale, and this was definitely one of them.

I travelled out to their beautiful acreage and from the moment Ninke stepped out in her dress, she looked like a real-life Cinderella. I truly don’t think I could have taken a bad photo of this girl if I tried. She was every bit as stunning as she was sweet, making the entire evening feel effortless and magical.

I’m already counting down until next summer when I’ll be back to capture another incredible milestone for this wonderful family—her older sister’s wedding. I can’t wait! ✨

Brady Thesen | Class of 2026 🎓

I’ve been photographing this family for years, so I’m always excited when they reach out. It’s such a privilege to watch families grow, and somehow Brady is already graduating!

To make these photos feel like him, we wandered around the family yard and incorporated some of the equipment that’s been such a big part of his life. It made the session feel personal and authentic.

The weather kept us on our toes all day, and we didn’t make the final call to go ahead until about 30 minutes before the session. Thankfully, we took the chance because everything came together perfectly.

Congratulations, Brady! Wishing you all the best in this next chapter.

Lyndsay Charko | Class of 2026 🤍 •••

Some graduates just make my job so easy, and Lyndsay was definitely one of them. Her years of dance showed in every pose, making everything feel so natural and effortless.

We wandered through a couple of locations that were especially meaningful to her, making the session feel even more personal. Big brother Chase quickly figured out that if he found cool spots for Lyndsay, he didn’t always have to be in the photos himself! Safe to say he found some awesome little gems that made for some of my favourite images from the evening.

This fall, Lyndsay is heading to Calgary to pursue graphic design, and I have no doubt she’ll bring the same creativity and passion to this next adventure. Wishing you all the best, Lyndsay—you’ve got an exciting future ahead! ✨

Arianne Hood | Class of 2026 🤍•••

Some dresses were made to be photographed, and this one was definitely one of them. ✨ It was so unique, and Arianne wore it beautifully. While we didn’t get that golden hour sunshine, the moody skies ended up being the perfect backdrop and made her dress stand out even more.

Arianne was an absolute dream to photograph. She was so easygoing, and when you’re working with someone this naturally stunning, my job becomes pretty easy. Congratulations, Arianne! Wishing you nothing but the best in this exciting next chapter.

Absolutely stunning. ✨ The vision for Sadie’s grad session was “magical forest fairy vibes,” and I think we nailed it. From the dreamy light filtering through the trees to her gorgeous dress, everything came together perfectly.

This family is always so much fun to spend time with, and they made the whole evening feel effortless. Not pictured? The constant swatting, laughing, and maybe a few choice words as we got absolutely mauled by mosquitoes. 😂 Some sessions are just part photoshoot, part survival challenge!

Congratulations, Sadie! Wishing you all the best on this exciting next chapter. 🤍

Banks 🤍 •••

Sweet little Banks was the calm in the middle of the wonderful chaos that comes with having two big brothers. He was an absolute champ for his photoshoot, making my job easy every step of the way.

One of my favorite parts of this job is the people I meet along the way. What started as a newborn session quickly turned into making a new friend in mama Cassidy. Their family is full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos, and little Banks fits right in.

Welcome to the world, little guy. You are so very loved. 🤍

Makayla Sunderland | Class of 2026 🤍

•••

Four years ago, I met Makayla’s mom while capturing her oldest daughter’s grad photos. Since then, I’ve had the honour of celebrating each of her girls as they reached this milestone. It means so much when families continue to trust me with these special moments, and I’m incredibly grateful they made the trip from Quill Lake to spend the evening with me.

Makayla is absolutely stunning, so kind, and one of the most easygoing graduates I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Within the first five minutes, we had a little shoe malfunction, but thankfully I had a spare pair in the car that fit perfectly, and we were back on track in no time. She even laughed that she would’ve happily gone barefoot if we had to! Her positive attitude made the whole evening so much fun.

Wishing you all the best in this exciting next chapter, Makayla! 🤍
