So happy to be able to capture these photos for our neighbors out in their corn field!

With back to school around the corner (Wednesday) my busy season begins. With teaching my Grade 5/6/7’s and coaching senior girls volleyball in September and October there just isn’t enough free time! I have a few back to school pictures planned but it might be pretty quiet here for the next couple of months. Thank you everyone who has supported me this summer! I just love doing this!

Hello 👋🏼 Thought I’d introduce the face behind the lens, as there are a lot of new followers here! So here’s 10 facts about me 📷
1. My name is Maytlind Mallo, I’m not sure how my parents came up with my name but I truly love the uniqueness of it
2. I grew up in Carievale, SK and moved to Broadview, SK almost(?!!) 10 years ago now.
3. I am an only child and an only grandchild on my mom’s side.
4. I am a full time teacher in town. I fully enjoy the restful summer ☀️
5. I am a self taught photographer and do it completely as a hobby. I have been taking photos for people with this Nikon since 2014 but I loved taking pictures with my parents cameras when I was little!
✨Bonus fact - I do all types of family photos, grad casuals, and grad formals . Baby’s and weddings are not my thing!
6. I have two cats - ones from a rescue and the other is from the farm.
7. I love Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, and the Lumineers
8. I’m super crafty but bounce between hobbies all the time
9. Curling and pickleball are my favourite sports
10. I have my own home library with 600+ books 📚

The last time I took the Phillips’ family photos was 4 years ago already!! It is always so nice catching up with families after previously taking their pictures in the past and seeing how much the kids have grown!

Quayd is the youngest of his three siblings that I’ve taken grad photos for over the last 6 years back home. It has truly been special seeing these kids all grown up year after year! It was so nice seeing this family again as the youngest graduates and his high-school chapter closes. Congratulations and best of luck at the U of S, Quayd!

Since I started teaching at Broadview School 3 years ago, I have been lucky enough to teach Payton a few classes. She is an absolute ray of sunshine and one of the most kind hearted students I have met. She is creative, funny and full of s***k.
