There are moments as a photographer that make you smile before you even press the shutter.

I’m a car guy at heart, so when the bride arrived in a beautiful 1952 Oldsmobile, my inner kid couldn’t help but light up.

I love seeing couples incorporate their personalities and passions into their wedding day. Whether it’s a meaningful location, family traditions, or a classic car with a story of its own, those personal touches make the day even more memorable.

The Oldsmobile wasn’t just transportation—it became part of the story, adding timeless elegance, character, and a little automotive magic to an already beautiful celebration.

Today was one of those proud dad moments.

My 14-year-old son recently started his small business, Pampered Pooch Petwear , and wanted to create a New Brunswick Day photoshoot featuring Murphy wearing one of his handmade scarves made with New Brunswick-themed fabric.

After watching me edit wedding photos this weekend, he decided he wanted to do the entire project himself. He used my old Nikon D90 (which has now officially become his camera), photographed Murphy, and even edited the images on his own.

It’s rewarding to see him not only developing his sewing and entrepreneurial skills, but also discovering a passion for photography and creative storytelling. I’m excited to see where his creativity takes him next.

I had the chance to catch Sass Jordan’s concert at this year’s Atlantic Nationals Auto Extravaganza, and all I can say is… wow!

I was fortunate enough to be right at the front of the stage, and from the very first song, she had the crowd in the palm of her hand. Her voice is every bit as powerful and soulful as ever, and she’s an incredible performer!

Judging by the reaction of the crowd, I definitely wasn’t the only one who was blown away. In fact, after the show I stopped by the local music store, only to find that they had sold out of her albums!

What an unforgettable performance. If you ever get the chance to see Sass Jordan live, don’t pass it up—you won’t be disappointed.
