This is how my Yukon trip started. 🥹❤️

Freshly baked cookies, a window seat, and this beautiful view flying into Whitehorse with Air North, Yukon's Airline. Pretty hard to beat.

It wasn’t the clear, blue-sky day I’d imagined for Lake O’Hara.

The first time I visited in June 2024, it was a full-on blizzard. This time, I got smoke and haze instead. 🥲

The water of Lake O’Hara was so calm & still it perfectly reflected the mountains. 🏔️ ✨

But it was still SO BEAUTIFUL - so here’s me taking you along to experience the beauty! 🥰

I think sometimes we get so caught up waiting for the “perfect” conditions that we forget how lucky we are just to be somewhere so many people only dream about visiting.

Maybe I’ll get my bluebird O’Hara day someday, but I know I’m pretty lucky to have visited twice now.

I almost skipped Lake O’Hara today because of the smoke...
but I’m SO glad I didn’t✨

The views weren’t what I’d imagined, but once I was there, I found myself caring less about what I couldn’t see and more about what was right in front of me - the lakes, the wildflowers, the mountains fading into the haze✨

It wasn’t a perfect day for mountain views, but I kept finding little moments that made me stop and feel incredibly grateful to be there. Sometimes you don’t need the perfect conditions to feel lucky. You just need to be present enough to notice how beautiful the day still is 🤍🏔️✨
