Looking for my people 🤎✨

The ones who are equally happy hiking for hours, disappearing into the backcountry with a backpack, squeezing in a run, getting out on the xc skis, or spending a day on the water paddling.

Bonus points if you’re also the person stopping every five minutes to take photos, film the views, or capture the little moments along the way. 😂

I want to do all the things, see all the places, and document as much of it as I can. While I love a solo adventure, there’s something pretty special about finding people who just get it.

So if you love some (or all) of the above, enjoy being outside in just about any weather, and don’t mind a few extra stops because the light is good…

the feeling of accomplishment once you’ve been active outside for several hours 💪😍

and all the tiny details you only notice when you get the chance to slow down on foot 🥾✨

Anyway, I just got back from another one, and I’m planning the next, as one does 😅

October in the Canadian Rockies is not for the weak… 😅

One minute you’re chasing golden larches, the next you’re watching the mountains disappear behind a fresh dusting of snow, squeezing in one last big adventure, and wondering how a place can look this beautiful in every season. This month was a little reminder of why I never get tired of living here. The changing colours, the crisp mornings, the moody skies, the kind of views that would impress anyone.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to plan that mountain trip, consider this to be it.🤎

Some people choose to spend their weekends on the couch relaxing. I hike 55+ km to sleep in a tent and see a glacier 😅🏕️🥾
