Underwater photography is so fascinating for me. Especially because I have no idea what I'm going to get. I'm not in the water. I just stick the camera down and point it around. Then on my computer I search through hundreds of images for cool compositions like one.

Finally! I've spent a lot of time out on the water, yet I've never seen a humpback whale lunge feeding. Until now. What a treat to be floating around, engine off, doing some fishing in Blackfish Sound and have this happen near the boat. I could even see the baleen!
