Today, a piece of my heart turns 24 ✨️

I used to think there was a bit of a sadness to our 10 year age gap. And while there will always be a tiny part of me that wishes we got to experience going through similar life stages at the same time, I've come to realize what a gift it is to watch you grow from where I am. To be old enough to remember you as a tiny newborn, toddlerhood, blue eyeshadow and all. The colored hair, glasses, all the phases growing up brings. The highs, the lows, and all the in between. Hannah, I am forever in awe of your determination, your creativity, the love you hold for others, and the way in which you stand up for all that you believe in. Confiding in you often has me questioning if I'm actually the older sister. I'm not sure you could find a truer meaning of proud if you tried, what a gift it is to have you not only as my sister, but my best friend for life. Happy Birthday! 💛

There may be snow on the ground, but I'm still dreaming of the winter sunshine the weeks before. It had been a year and a half since I photographed these kiddos last, and much like watching my own grow, I'll never get over how fast it goes. Grateful for the mama's who have me document their babies over and over 🤎

Bidding 2024 farewell, and welcoming all 2025 has to offer ❤️

In April of 2022, I created what was then just a page to hold snippets of a passion. I really had few expectations, what has evolved into Honeybloom has far exceeded all of them. It can be tough not to get wrapped up in the comparison game, the social media aspect of it all, the thoughts that creep up on you that perhaps you should be at a certain point by now. Looking back at all the growth, seeing all the beautiful faces I've had the opportunity of meeting, I've realized that's truly what it's all about. Being a parent to 3 young ones is a career in itself, I really do believe being able to have this creative outlet of my own has been so important. I am incredibly proud of this little journey of mine, for all that's been accomplished and what is still yet to come. Thank you to all the amazing folks who have put their trust in my art, relationships formed, and to be given even a moment in time documenting your families has meant everything.

✨️ Norah & Brendan ✨️ I met a couple years ago while on vacation in Bella Coola. It was the first year I had offered my photo services, these two had reached out and we created some pretty special photos. Granted how far apart we really lived from each other, it was safe to say that maybe "the stars would align" and we'd meet again one day. Well, 2+ years later, here we are. I've met some pretty spectacular individuals on this journey, these two are everything.
