My last fall gallery has been sent.

I canโ€™t believe how beautiful this year was.

Is it me or the colours were even more colourful and every sunset was perfectly golden?

This family has been with me for years and ending the busy fall season with our yearly catch-up was amazing.

Winter wonderland coming next. Iโ€™m still in shock. The mountains actually went from fall to fluffy sparkly snow overnight.

This was the kind of evening that was good for the soul.

Hanging out with these two โ€” they are amazing people who make you want to be friends with them instantly.

The drive โ€” fall in full swing in the mountains is always stunning but it felt like it was even better this year.

The shoot location โ€” finding a place completely off the beaten path when everywhere seems so busy, and taking in all the beauty.

These cousins donโ€™t live in the same country but they were more like siblings than cousins.

This extended family session was so special and included one very lucky grandma with her arms full of happy smiley adorable grandkids.

From a photography perspective, notice how we go from zoomed in on tiny hands โ€” showing the beauty in all the precious details โ€” to full panoramic views of the mountains โ€” showing the beauty of the place where we were โ€” and everything in between.

But more importantly, this feels like memories being made.

This is why a newborn session at home is so special and precious. Because you get glimpses of what your lives were at a specific moment in time preserved forever in your photos.
