An encounter with Split Lip (Bear #136) that I will never forget.
I was hiking in the Lake Louise area when I spotted a BIG grizzly up on a ridge, I gave it as much room as possible and after getting a nice shot of it I continued down the trail to the Lake, I turned to see he was slowly plodding along the trail behind me before passing right in front of me down by the water. He knew I was there and I backed up to give him the room he needed to pass, truly one of my most special wildlife encounters.
