Ok y’all, last call!
I have time on Saturday afternoon between 3 & 4pm for either one big session, 2 minis, or 4 ultra minis!
13 other families (including mine!) have booked in between Thursday and Sunday, I definitely have my work cut out for me this season 🙂
Dm if you’d like in, weather dependant, I may or may not be offering more fall minis over the next few weeks.
10c and above? Yes!
9c or lower? Heck no!
I don’t like the cold, my cameras don’t like the cold, and I don’t like/wont be photoshopping out blue hands and red noses 😉

I do have access to studio space throughout the colder months for large-ish groups, plus my home studio for headshots/school photos/small sessions

10 years ago today I shot my first wedding-
What a wild ride it’s been!
Over 150 weddings, more than 300 beautiful people, and thousands upon thousands photos delivered.
It has been a dream, honestly.

But all good things must come to an end, and in 2027, I will be removing weddings from my services offered.
Half day, full day, elopements-all of it. And not because I don’t love it, I do!
I am at a place right now in my life where I need to make choices, changes, and decisions that are best for my mental health, my healing, and my family.
I can honestly say that this summer was one of the best summers I’ve had;
Rarely a weekend worked, so much time spent with my gorgeous husband and beautiful boys. Lots of time at the ball diamonds, lots of rolls of film, road trips, farm visits, sleep-ins, pool swims, gardening, thrift store hangs with my friends, fishing, and did I mention sleep? lol
I’m not saying this will be forever, but for now, I’m going to keep my focus on my family while our boys are still at home. Working weekends are not conducive to that.
One thing this year or two has taught me, is that time is never promised with anyone.
And money is not as important as it seems-although I really do like making money ;)
2027 is going to look different in a lot of ways, I’m not even 100% on how to restructure my other services just yet. I’ve got some thinkin’ to do ❤️
I will always be a photographer, it’s in my heart, and without getting too much into my personal life, I am finding it difficult to share my (he)Art at the moment.
I want to hold it tight, nurture it, and keep it for myself and those closest to me.

I have loved this part of my career, and I will always think of it with Joy and Love.
The memories made, well, there are no words. How lucky have I been? How grateful am I to have had this opportunity? I can’t articulate it here, and I don’t want to even try.

Happy Thursday friends!
A few updates to give for this weekend;
The weather is not great (sigh, again!) which means the sunflower fields may* not open to the public, and big horn is being cancelled again, for sure.
If you are looking to book fall sessions,
I will be available most weekdays this month & also the weekends of Sept 19/20th, and again Thanksgiving weekend (Oct 10/11th)
I have a wedding coming up this month and another trip to BC planned for early October to spend time with my dad.

I’m usually pressing hard for fall photos in September, but sometimes you have to admit defeat against Mother Nature.

Reach out if you’d like headshots, school pics for your kids, or anything else and we’ll see about getting you on the schedule.

I will be planning my Christmas set for my in-home studio this year over the coming weeks and will be booking those for early November-to late November. I will not be shooting in December, unless something exceptional happens to change my mind 😉

I have an order of prints coming in the next week as well, so if you’ve been waiting for baseball photos/cards, they are on the way!
