In 2022, I worked with Rodolfo Damaggio to add figures to his set design work for Pinocchio. My help was after the project was done and just for his portfolio, but it was still thrilling to be able to help in some way.
I wish that Gaussian Splatting was available back then in the way it is now. I think the level of detail Splats brings would have been amazing. The industry has changed radically, and Rodolfo has retired to Italy, but these are some of my favourite projects in my 10 years of working with 3D.
I’m hoping some of my new projects are as rewarding.

The full-colour 3D prints of me and Angus on display in my studio are wonderful but the detail that Splats can display is out of this world.
