I was so pleased to be able to attend this beautiful festival. I didn't take too many pictures, as I was way too busy enjoying all the great workshops! To mention a few - Crystal Bowl Singing, Ecstatic Dance, Heart Awakening Breathwork, Herb Walk, Medicine Wheel Teachings and so many more. Already looking forward to next year's event. Big thanks & lots of love to everyone who made the weekend what it was.

Taken at the Recovery Day celebration and get together in Calgary, AB on Sept 8, 2013. Attended by Mayor Naheed Nenshi and Sheldon Kennedy, among many others, this event was held to "combat negative perceptions towards individuals in recovery. Our mission is to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving life for individuals, families, and communities. We believe that recovery saves lives. We envision a world in which recovery from addiction is a common, celebrated reality - a world where individuals will not experience shame when seeking help. We are passionate about sharing the faces, voices and stories of recovery in hopes of inspiring and inviting others to join us on the rewarding, yet diverse, path to wholeness. I had the privilege of helping out with Greg's brilliant project for street lights to light up the night and guide people's way at Alberta's regional Burning Man celebration. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the lights lit up on location! If anyone has night shots they'd like to contribute, please let me know. Many thanks to Greg for his innovation, planning, and creativity and to everyone who came out on different days to contribute.
