Can never go wrong with Znoud El-sit.
If I can make something in Ramadan over and over again, its these delicious rolls stuffed with Ishta/nutella/ anything your heart desires.

And the best thing is... IT IS SO EASYY
I know we can all get lazy during the last few days of Ramadan but you need to try this.

Recipe:
Toast (white)
Your choice of filling (ishta for this one)
Pistachio
Simple syrup
Frying oil (I used coconut oil)

1. Take a pice of flat white toast and roll it out
2. Place your choice of filling at the beginning of the rolled toast and roll it out with some extra space on the side to prevent leaking in the oil.
3. Heat up the frying oil on medium and place the rolls in the oil until it is golden and crispy (roughly 4 mins)
4. Take out the roll from the frying oil and soak in simply syrup with an option to dip both ends in nuts (pistachio)
5. Enjoy your lil Znoud El-sit hack!

🍊Orange Cake🍊super moist, but make it healthier and super fun to shoot.

Quick little video of how I set up this photoshoot of an orange cake. Was super terrified of the pour shoot but my camera came throughhhh😩💪

Settings and tips for pour shots:

Always have a good lighting on hand
- Use MANUAL MODE!!
- set your ISO on high
- Keep aperture between the range of 5.0 to 8.0
- POUR SLOWLY
- If you mess up, try another angle or rise of the cake/dessert

No fancy equipment needed!!

💗🌷L-O-V-E. We love her. Dalgona or Libyan "Nescafe", she's that convenient coffee that every Libyan whips up with a hot cup of milk to enjoy your sweets potentially at midnight with your besties and gals. As a child I would remember my relatives always taking out a Nescafe jar and whip up this drink real quick whenever we visited, and it just gave off a vibe that made you feel at home. I am not much of a coffee drinker, but this has some special memories in my heart that remind me of Libya🇱🇾♥️.
How to make a rose-infused Dalgona:
2 tsp nescafe coffee
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp hot water
1 tsp rose water (concentrated)

Pour all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk by hand (or by electric mix) until it becomes fluffy with peaks, top with rose petals and enjoy!

Sunday Brunch is crispy SFINZ🇱🇾🤌

This may be the bubbliest and fluffiest Sfinz you have ever seen, and its for a reason. Just let the dough rest!!!

We Libyans love our breads, and so SFINZ gets to be in absolutely everything. Cheese, Libyan Harissa, honey, fried eggs, Nutella?? Yup. You can top it with anything you like. This crispy and fluffy dough is the best thing you'll have.

We love it! if you're not familiar with Braak, its a stuffed Green/Red Chard leaf with a mixture of rice/oats, finely chopped meat and lots and lots of vegetables.

Its Dolmas close sister (she's the cool sister that everyone wants to be like)! As you guys might know I am trying to eat healthier for long term, and my mother made an (AMAZING) to these by trying it out with OATS instead of rice!!!!! And let me tell you, you devour these in 5 seconds.

PS: I may have eaten the entire plate in the picture as soon as I finished shooting

I do NOT have a recipe for this, we Libyans eye ball everything so please don't come after me but ill TRY posting the recipe on my story!!

Turkish eggs / Çilbir! 🇹🇷

If you haven't made these already, this is your sign to make them😍 Super easy, super quick and super fresh. All of the ingredients scream with Mediterranean flavours and with that yolk explosion, do you need anything more?

Ingredients:
Labneh (or full fat yogurt)
Garlic
Lemon juice
Black pepper
Salt
Aleppo pepper (or red pepper flakes)
Butter
Olive oil
Dill (I used parsley but plz use dill)

Assembly:
1. Mix your Labneh with garlic, lemon juice and salt, set aside
2. Fry or poach your eggs in butter, leave the yolk runny and the whites firm
3. Work on your liquid gold (aka the spicy oil), melt butter and add Aleppo pepper, red pepper flakes and some olive oil and let is sizzleeeeeee.
Assemble and enjoy!

Cheers
