Three days above the clouds in the Bugaboos with CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures 🚁

Heli-hiking was a pretty incredible way to experience the mountains. Instead of starting at a trailhead, I flew straight into the high alpine and spent the days exploring places that would otherwise take days to reach.

Over three days, we hiked through alpine meadows, along ridgelines, landed on glaciers, climbed the Skyladder Via Ferrata, and swam in alpine lakes beneath the towering granite spires. The helicopter would drop us into a new corner of the mountains each day, making every hike feel like a completely different adventure.

The icing on top of the whole experience was the time spent at the lodge. After a day full of adventure, I got to come back to a remote mountain lodge, soak in the rooftop hot tub, enjoy incredible meals, sleep in a cozy bed, and watch the sunrise at the nearby pond.

that one time I met up with a group of strangers in the middle of the night in the middle of the mountains with no service to climb up a mountain for sunrise - I’d say it turned out out pretty amazing 💛

Forever grateful for picking up a camera and getting to meet some amazing people and go on some crazy adventures. There was so much positivity this morning even though we were all sleep deprived - I think our positivity is what got us to be s lucky with the inversion when we got to the top! :)
