I considered a few locations for J + M’s mountain engagement session. She had a vision for their photos and this location in Kananaskis fit exactly what she wanted.

We braved the rain and ended up with the most beautiful evening from golden hour to dusk.

I think the mountain reflection photos are my fav…

Mmm, it’s gotta be the lush green field with the mountain backdrop. We saw an elk in the field!!!

But I also love the sun-kissed photos…

They are all my favs. I love them all. Good luck choosing a background for your phones haha

💕Miss M burst into laughter! She smooshed paint onto her mom’s cheeks and I was smiling the whole time behind my camera.

It’s whimsical and colourful, playful and messy - all the things we want for our children (but don’t want to clean up in our own home haha) There is this beautiful spot in South Calgary where I create this photo set for your family and bring all the supplies including the canvas you get to take home as a keepsake.

Wedding photos from our wedding day in Calgary 12 years ago 🤍

We have so many memories from our wedding day but I have no doubt that I remember most of them because of the photos we have. Our hearts have been filled with so many new memories since then and although the highlights are easy to remember… the details fade.

I am so grateful for our wedding photos that have frozen moments of the people we love laughing, cheering, and sharing our wedding day with us. It keeps our wedding day alive in a way my memory can’t on its own. The emotions I see in these photos takes me back.

Cameras are truly a gift we should not take for granted in our lifetime and I am so honoured to be the photographer for so many couples getting married in Calgary and the stunning Rocky Mountains.
