We are finding a rhythm we can roll with in the Netherlands. The North Sea was calling so we followed the wind to the strand. Perfectly sunny day, wide sandy beaches, kids frolicking, dogs enjoying the surf, sailboats in the distance, perfection.

Our side quest of discovering the best friets continues. These were delicious, and the seagulls agreed as they hover and give us the side eye, often peering over the edge. The moment a table is vacant, they swoop in on their own side quest.

We find ourselves in the most picturesque of cities - Haarlem. Happy to be back and trying to speak a little of the language. However Duolingo teaches you things like, Ik ben een appel, which is conversational only so far as to be an idiot abroad.

We genuinely couldn’t be prouder of this exceptional young man. He was thrilled to complete at the South and Pan American championship in Lima, Peru. He gave it his all, and we hope walked away with pride for his achievements. He is surrounded by a team of big hearted young athletes that support and lift one another up.

We are grateful to Joshua Riker-Fox, Darragh O'Malley Elizabeth Rodriguez Nazarenko & Olivia Li for being the kind of mentors and coaches that guide with passion & integrity - lessons that stay with an athlete for life. We count ourselves lucky he has grown up in this environment.

A day of respite from the rain. I’m very much ready for summer. I’m ready for whatever vibe this is.. we can start with blue skies.

We are still living off our London vibes. It was such a full trip, but in the fullness we found moments of silence where we sat in gratitude and felt the warmth of the sun on our face. We are absolute creatures of habit and must absolutely visit Hampton Court Palace. Its claim to fame is that of Henry VIII. His life and that of his six wives are what people come for, but it’s not the only lives lived here.

However, for the modern romantic, if you go through the palace towards the river you will see my favourite part of the palace and scenes from everyone’s favourite show - Bridgerton.

If you’re in west London, take a little journey to Hampton Court Palace, the stories are abundant here, and the lives of people who’ve shaped history are here. I must admit, my favourite spot is the garden(s). In the summer, there is a spectacular water park for kids - The Magic Garden!
