More photos of one of the Grizzlies we saw last week while out in the mountains. This one was an untagged bear that parks has been watching. He had more grey then most. All photos taken with a telephoto lens and have been cropped. Locations will not be shared.

Wow today in Kananaskis we found 6 different Grizzlies and 2 Black Bear. Only 2 bears were tagged. Bear 175 is a female...

Wow today in Kananaskis we found 6 different Grizzlies and 2 Black Bear. Only 2 bears were tagged. Bear 175 is a female that is 8 years old and is the first baby of the famous Bear 139(The Dutchess). She was being courted by tha very big guy in the running photo. Then a rough looking guy with what looks like he's blind in one eye. The one that is hard to see is 193 with the blue and collar. The other one blurry in the trees is a Black bear. Then we have the Grizzly with some battle scars and fur chunks missing. Then one that was way more silver and then the first bear with a smile. First time seeing 4 untagged bears that were adults in Kananaskis. Also some Elk, Bighorn Sheep, Deer, and some Marmots. Great day for a mountain escape. No locations will be shared.
