Sunflower Mini Sessions🌻

One of my favorite mini sessions of the year is back! There’s just something so special about golden summer evenings surrounded by sunflowers, and I’m so excited to be offering these minis again this season.

These sessions are perfect for families, couples, maternity, or solo portraits.

📍 Location: Bowden Sunmaze (approx. 1 hour north of Calgary)

Not only will you get to enjoy the stunning sunflower fields, but Bowden Sunmaze also offers u-pick flowers and vegetables making it such a fun summer outing for the whole family.

This session with Pat Kane was my favorite. He challenged me to slow down, see things differently, and be more intentional behind the camera. I’m walking away with so much inspiration, new knowledge, and a deeper appreciation for the power of storytelling through photography.

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a workshop 'Telling our own stories' for Indigenous photographers with Candice Ward and I’m still feeling so inspired!

I’m so grateful for the chance to learn, create, and connect with such talented people. Pat Kane Alanna Bluebird Thank you for sharing your knowledge, stories, and passion so openly. I left feeling inspired, encouraged, and excited to keep growing in my photography journey.

Learning in a space that celebrates Indigenous voices, creativity, and storytelling was truly special. So thankful for this experience 🤍
