I sometimes receive inquiries, but I mainly take photos as a hobby, so I’m generally not accepting commissions. I’m really happy that you even think of asking me.

Lately, I’ve been enjoying simply finding places and photographing them freely, guided by my own sensibility, in a light and easy way.

I do occasionally work with models and practice portrait photography so I don’t lose touch with it!

I feel like I spent this year chasing cherry blossoms a little too intensely. My favorite thing has been finding hidden good spots where nobody else is around.

今年はバンクーバー/バーナビーの桜を追っかけるのに若干奔走した気がする。誰もいない桜スポットを見つけるのが最近の流行り。

How is this even real life 🌼✨

Laburnum in full bloom x Kimono💛



These were taken a long time ago but I never posted them. I was surprised to realize these were taken in the first week of June! Now they’re already in full bloom by May 13.

The bloom timing feels much earlier now compared to when these were taken.

ずいぶん前に撮ったキバナフジの写真だけど、投稿してなかったもの。
これ6月の1週目に撮ったやつ。今年は5月13日に満開。
昔に比べて開花時期がかなり早くなってる。

On the day we were all able to gather, everything aligned in the most unexpected and beautiful way. Cherry blossoms were drifting through the air like a quiet snowfall, surrounding their beginning with something fleeting, gentle, and almost symbolic, as if nature itself was offering a blessing.

They stood together in traditional Japanese wedding kimono, their presence calm and luminous. There was a quiet stillness in them, like time had softened just for that moment.

We also made space for who they truly are. In a few frames, they returned to movement from their sword fighting workshop, focused and alive, carrying a different kind of elegance, one rooted in discipline, trust, and shared practice.

I sincerely wish them a journey ahead filled with depth, tenderness, and a happiness that continues to unfold in its own quiet way.

以前、作品づくりを通してご縁のあったお二人の結婚式を撮影させていただくことになり、とても嬉しい機会を頂きました

ちょうど撮影の当日が、桜がふわっと雪みたいに舞い散る本当にきれいな日で、なんだかこの日のために用意されていたみたいな空気。お二人のはじまりを、そっと包んでくれているようでした。

お二人の着物姿は静かで凛としていて、とても美しかったです。

お二人がライフワークとしている殺陣のワークショップから、刀を持った姿も凛として美しかったです。

これからのお二人の毎日が、やさしくてあたたかいものになりますように、心から願っています。
