Victoria & Arman are getting married in just a couple of weeks, and I couldn't be more excited to celebrate with them.

We started their engagement session at R.C. Harris with a more elegant look, letting the timeless architecture create a classic, editorial feel. Then they changed into casual outfits, kicked off their shoes, and spent the rest of the evening running along the beach, laughing, chasing each other, and simply enjoying the moment together.

The contrast between the two parts of the session couldn't have been more perfect. Sophisticated and romantic at first, then carefree, playful, and full of genuine connection.

These two are truly some of the sweetest people I've ever met, and if this session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be something really special. I can't wait to capture it.

A quiet afternoon at Dundurn Castle with Aileen and Diedric.

There is something timeless about this place — the historic architecture, big, old trees, the soft textures, and the feeling of stepping into another era. Even in the middle of the day, we focused on creating images that felt natural, elegant, and full of connection.

From the gentle moments between them to the effortless way they moved together, this session was all about capturing their love exactly as it feels: warm, romantic, and genuine.

So grateful to have spent this time with Aileen and Diedric before their wedding day next year!

Chelsea & Lucas met in Toronto and got to know each other on long walks through the city. It only felt right that their engagement session featured the Toronto skyline as the backdrop.

We spent a beautiful June morning wandering through Trillium Park, which, in my opinion, is one of the best locations for engagement photos in the city. It offers incredible skyline views while also giving you plenty of greenery and natural scenery, making it easy to create a gallery with lots of variety without ever leaving the park.

It was such a fun morning, and I can't wait to photograph their wedding next year.

And by the way, on our blog you can find a list of our favourite spots for engagement photos in and around Toronto.

Some wedding days just feel extra special from the very beginning, and Janella & John’s day was one of them.

You could feel how much love surrounded them from every direction. Their families, bridal party, and friends weren’t just there to celebrate; they were fully present in every moment with them.

One of our favourite moments was seeing Janella’s dad during their first look. The emotion on his face said everything, and it was impossible not to get teary when half the bridesmaids were wiping away their own tears as they watched it happen.

Throughout the entire day, there were so many little reminders of how loved these two are. The hugs, the laughter, the happy tears, and the way everyone looked at them made this celebration feel truly unforgettable.

Just a few of my favourite moments from Kat & Massimo's wedding.

It poured almost the entire day. We were disappointed that we couldn't make it to McMaster for portraits, but that's exactly why we never rely on just one plan.

Before every wedding, we prepare backup locations and think through different scenarios so that no matter what the weather brings, the day keeps flowing and our couples can stay present.

Thankfully, Hazelton Manor has a beautiful cocktail hour space that became the perfect backdrop for portraits. I also brought along some new lighting equipment I've been excited to use, which helped us create the natural, timeless, and classic images Kat & Massimo had envisioned.

May and June are always busy with engagement sessions, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Clariza & Anthony live downtown, so they wanted a mix of city vibes and those classic, timeless photos that never go out of style.

Lately, I've been pushing myself creatively and embracing our harsh Ontario sunlight instead of always playing it safe. For years, I gravitated toward soft, even light, but recently I've been experimenting more with strong contrasts, deeper shadows, and letting the midday sun become part of the story.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying it.

What do you think? Do you love the mood and drama of harsh light, or are you still a fan of that soft, dreamy glow?

My beautiful bride, Sarah.

The night before her wedding, she was still making her bouquet by hand after spending the day exploring flower markets and gathering blooms, including a few stems from her neighbour's garden.

She also repurposed pieces of her mom's dress to create the gloves she wore on her wedding day.

Nothing about this day was ordinary. Every detail carried a story and was made with so much love. Sarah, your creativity and talent amazed me. It was such a privilege to witness and capture it all.

This elopement on top of Rainbow Mountain in Whistler reminded us why we fell in love with intimate wedding days in the first place.

No rushing between timelines. No pressure to perform. Just two people spending the entire day together, taking it all in, and celebrating in a way that felt fully like them.

We hiked, explored, laughed through the wind, and watched the mountains disappear into the clouds. It was an unforgettable experience, and at a few points we genuinely had to pause and take it all in ourselves.

These are just the sneak peeks. There’s so much more coming soon from this incredible day in Whistler.
