The season of Queen Anne's Lace is leaving us soon, but these memories are here to stay. Guys, this was one sweet and fun mini session, and I had to apologize to our client because of a big proof gallery 🥹😅😍.

Still, zero regret and adding this to our all-time favorite list 😍.

The sweetest 4yo and his family 🥹

Photographing families with younger kids always brings mixed emotions. They make me miss those little years with my boys, but they also remind me how much love, fun, chaos, and sweetness lives in that stage.

So let me tell you, from a mom who's no longer in those years — take the photos. Take lots of them. Book a session. Do it yearly. Because on their 10th birthday, you'll look back and cry your eyes out at how fast the time went and how much your child has grown. You'll be so glad you have these memories to hold onto.

That golden light in early Fall, when the air is warm but the wind feels cooler 😍

Last night we took a slow walk around the neighborhood after dinner. The kids scootered ahead to the schoolyard to hunt for cicada shells, while Sun and I enjoyed our time and let our minds rest.

The air felt different. Softer, somehow. Maybe I'm just extra sensitive to these things, but I felt a shift happening. The breeze felt cooler now, and the daylight thins out earlier than it did just weeks ago. It was already dark by 8:15. Then, the most obvious sign — my throat's getting itchy. Not sick, but seasonal allergy feeling.

Fall is on its way.

My favorite season, and I already can't wait to feel it, see it, breathe it in all over again 🥰🍂

There's something so sacred about this season of waiting. 🤍

A tiny miracle growing, hidden but so deeply loved already. The kind of joy that shows up in quiet moments. A hand resting on a bump, feeling every kick and flutter of movement. The countdown that feels both endless and not long enough at all.

This is what it looks like to wait well. To hold onto hope. To trust that what's being formed is worth every bit of the wondering.

What a blessing, to be entrusted with a life not yet met but already so wanted. 🤍
