On Golden Pond opens this week for two weeks at Theatre Ancaster. It is such a delightful production with a wonderful cast that will leave you feeling warm and cozy. Can’t wait to see this beautiful play!! The set is absolutely unreal!

A little personal post here!!

I hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of summer break. I always find September a hard month. Does anyone else feel the same? We say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. We get our kids ready to go back to school, but this year looks different for me as my kids embark on their journey to college and living away from home. No one can prepare you for the way this feels.

I certainly don’t look at myself as an empty nester, but here I am, the mum of two adults onto their next adventure, which means I’m embarking on one too. Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere! On the contrary!! It’s time to start pouring back into myself; something that has been challenging to do when you’re a mum like me.

It’s a scary and exciting time and I’m holding my heart tightly. Are we ever truly ready for change? For new beginnings? All I can say is, I may not always feel ready, but I’m as ready as I’ll ever be 💙
