Tornado Watch

Environment Canada has issued this Tornado Watch.
Locations: R.M. of Battle River including Sweet Grass Res. and Delmas, R.M. of Britannia including Hillmond, R.M. of Buffalo including Phippen, R.M. of Cut Knife including Cut Knife, R.M. of Douglas including Speers Richard and Alticane and 18 more areas
Valid: Mon Jul 27 at 3:58 PM CST until 11:48 PM CST

Significant damage or destruction to infrastructure, homes and the natural environment is possible.

Additional information: In the event of a tornado, or if a tornado warning is issued for your area: go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet. Leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter, and move to a strong building if you can. As a last resort, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris. Be prepared for severe weather. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take cover immediately. When out on the water, be prepared for severe weather. If threatening weather approaches make for shore and take shelter immediately. It is particularly dangerous to be on a small craft on the open water when lightning is occurring.

Environment Canada has issued this Tornado Watch.
Locations: Co. of Paintearth near Brownfield, Co. of Paintearth near Castor and Fleet, Co. of Paintearth near Coronation and Throne, Co. of Paintearth near Halkirk and Big Knife Prov. Park, Co. of Stettler near Big Valley and 17 more areas
Valid: Mon Jul 27 at 3:02 PM MDT until 12:02 AM MDT

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
The greatest risk for tornadoes will be through 7 PM local time.

UPDATE: Confirmed tornado in progress south of Paradise Valley at 7:35pm.

A tornado WARNING has been issued south of Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan for this circled area near Paradise Valley as our storm chaser Braydon Morisseau - Storm Chaser reported a funnel cloud and brief tornado occured on this storm.

Please take shelter near McLaughlin, Alberta and Marsden, Saskatchewan.
