When I was In my teens I picked up a pencil and taught myself how to draw portraits, by the time I was 25 I was a mixed media artist, I still love to draw people, but I also love creating tattoo designs and drawing animals and everything in between. Then by 25 to 30, I started using different mediums, such as paints ( oils, acrylic, water, ) and use ( marker, pencil, pastels) then last but least wood burnings, but every time I took the time to learn a new medium, it was like. I forgot everything else, like my pencil work for my portraits, so it just felt like I was going in circles with all my learning. Feeling frustrated I took a break from my art to reflect on how to move forward and that when I also remembered I always had a love for photography, and decided put down the pencils and all the thousands of art supplies I had and picked up a camera, and that is when my life changed for the better!
