Some moments deserve to be more than remembered — they deserve to be felt. 🤍

A tiny heartbeat, a growing belly, two hands already surrounding this little life with so much love.

Maternity photography captures such a short and beautiful chapter — the anticipation, the connection, and those quiet moments before everything changes.

And now, with a little touch of AI, a photograph can gently come to life while still preserving the emotion of the original moment. ✨

Richmond Green is one of my favourite locations for photo sessions. 🌿

Whether you’re looking for a quick 30-minute mini session or a full 2-hour experience, this park offers so much variety in one place. From a beautiful waterfall and fountain to colourful flower gardens and peaceful green spaces, every corner is perfect for creating timeless portraits.

I especially love photographing children, families, and portraits here because the scenery is stunning in every season. It’s one of those locations that never disappoints, whether it’s spring blooms, summer greenery, vibrant autumn colours, or a snowy winter backdrop.

If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos or booking a portrait session, Richmond Green is definitely one of my top recommendations.

Here’s what to remember when posing for a maternity photoshoot:

• Relax your shoulders
• Hold the bump gently
• Breathe slowly and deeply
• Move naturally between poses
• Don’t overthink the camera
• Focus on the moment
• Let your dress flow naturally
• Smile softly with your eyes
• Trust your body and angles
• Be present with your baby

The most beautiful maternity photos happen when you slow down, connect with the moment, and simply let yourself feel ✨

1. Don’t “pose” — interact with each other
Think of it more like spending time together than performing for the camera.
2. Pretend the photographer isn’t there
Focus on your partner, not on how you look.
3. Be present in the moment
Listen to each other, laugh naturally, whisper things, react genuinely.
4. Move constantly
Walk slowly, sway, hug tighter, fix each other’s hair, hold hands — movement creates life in photos.
5. Don’t look at the camera the whole time
Some of the strongest images happen when you’re looking at each other instead.
6. Stand closer than feels natural
In photos, distance looks bigger. Close the gaps.
7. Relax your hands
Soft hands photograph beautifully. Avoid stiff fingers or clenched fists.
8. Focus on connection, not perfection
Perfect posing matters less than real emotion.
9. Breathe slowly
When people get nervous, they tense their shoulders and jaw. Slow breathing softens everything.
10. Talk to each other
Tell a joke, share a memory, tease each other a little — genuine reactions photograph best.
11. Trust the in-between moments
Often the best photos happen right after the “posed” moment ends.
12. Lean into each other
Physically and emotionally. Small touches feel intimate in photos.
13. Don’t force smiles
A soft expression, tiny smile, or emotional look often feels more cinematic than a huge grin.
14. Forget about being “photogenic”
Connection always matters more than angles.
15. Think of the shoot as a date
Walk, cuddle, talk, laugh — the camera simply documents it.

It was the perfect weather to be outdoors.

I’m a photographer and yes I will use ai to create social media content… because photographing myself on tripod or in front of a mirror takes too much time. But I’ll find a time to make a dance or something to say “I tried going viral”

05/16/2026

Some days I just want to skip social media posting, but I keep reminding myself: it’s a must. It’s my daily “scream at the top of the mountain that I am a photographer and I love what I do.. and I am also good at it” :)

Trying to take selfie and a photograph. Photos taken on the phone do not do reality justice…

Beauty is everywhere… especially during spring…

Today was a disappointing location scouting. I was really hoping and expecting the tree to be in this beautiful state of bloom, but I only got maybe 10% of the flowers I expected. This was unfortunate, but luckily this spot has other beautiful spots, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time.
