Quiet evenings in the field are good for the soul. Thereā€™s something so peaceful about standing among the herd, watching them interact, and simply being present in their world. Itā€™s always a privilege to spend time in the company of such incredible horses and capture the moments that often go unnoticed. ā¤ļø

Had the opportunity to stop by the Klingenberg farm for a mini session today! šŸ“øšŸŒ¾

I didnā€™t get a chance to photograph everyone, but I was able to capture a few of their calves, cows, goats, and chickens. Hereā€™s a little look! Thereā€™s something special about spending time on a farm and documenting the animals and the life that surrounds them.

Iā€™m so thankful for the opportunity to visit and for the trust placed in me to capture these moments. Supporting local families and preserving these memories is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Thank you, Klingenberg family, for having me out. I always appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to the next visit! ā¤ļøšŸ„šŸšŸ”

What a day!

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending and photographing my second Stern Branding day, and I canā€™t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment the day began, there was an incredible energy in the arena filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and a genuine sense of community.

Itā€™s always a pleasure to capture candid moments, but events like this make the job even more rewarding. Watching people connect, share ideas, and enjoy each otherā€™s company created countless moments worth remembering. Of course add in some amazing food and a group of truly welcoming people, and it made for a fantastic day from start to finish.

A huge thank you to everyone who made me feel welcome and trusted me to document this yearly event. I left with a ton of photos, a full stomach, and an even greater appreciation for the people and community behind Stern 2026.

Hereā€™s a small glimpse into a day filled with great people, great conversations, and plenty of smiles.

Hi, Iā€™m Kase šŸ¤
Iā€™m a western and agriculture-based photographer capturing real life in the countryā€”open land, livestock, family, and the hard work that ties it all together. My focus is on honest moments that tell the story of the western way of life, just as itā€™s lived..but i will capture just about anything!

About Me:
I grew up in Kelowna BC with a deep obsession for the country and western lifestyle. That dream eventually became reality, today Im blessed to live on a hobby farm in rural Alberta, near Bluffton with my husband, our fresh two-week-old daughter and all our critters!

From horses and cattle to branding days, families, and everyday moments on the land, I photograph what feels real and meaningful to me. Photography is my way of preserving the lifestyle and moments I once dreamed about and now get to share with my familyā€”capturing the grit, the quiet, and the connection between people, animals, and land.
