The first time they officially came out as a couple was at a wedding I was photographing in 2019, in Old Montreal. But before that, there was Marie-Josée’s brief experiment with a dating app, which lasted all of one weekend. Olivier noticed her right away. He sent her a very nice message, but it was VERY long! That was followed by a phone call that lasted more than 90 minutes, and then dinner a few days later. And just like that, they were a couple! How could it have turned out any other way? They truly complement each other, and no matter where they are, they feel at home whenever they’re together.
Last Saturday, we gathered at the beautiful Château Vaudreuil to celebrate their union. Marie-Josée had been dreaming of a day like this since she was a little girl—a day when she could be the princess, accompanied by her handsome prince. The chilly weather made the ceremony a little shorter than planned, but at least there was no rain! A beautiful blue sky and a stunning sunset provided the perfect backdrop. For me, this was my last wedding of the year, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up the season!
Thank you to all the vendors who contributed to the success of this event, to Wiktor Pajor for his help throughout the day, and a very special thank you to Marie-Josée & Olivier for trusting me to capture this beautiful day!
