Do you have a Camera??

Does it have a Manual Setting??

I have been shooting photos for years with camera and only used the Automatic Features included on the camera.

It's been almost a year since I have switched to using the manual setting and I will never look back!!!

If you are looking to get the best out of your camera take the time to learn about these three basic steps to using your Manual Setting.

1. Shutter Speed
"Shutter speed or exposure time is the length of time when the film or digital sensor inside the camera is exposed to light, also when a camera's shutter is open when taking a photograph.[1] The amount of light that reaches the film or image sensor is proportional to the exposure time. 1/500th of a second will let half as much light in as 1/250th."

2. Aperture
"Aperture is the opening in the lens. When you hit the shutter release button of your camera a hole opens up that allows your cameras image sensor to catch a glimpse of the scene you’re wanting to capture. The aperture that you set impacts the size of that hole. The larger the hole the more light that gets in – the smaller the hole the less light. This can be used to decide whether a photos background is blurry or clear. Your Aperture is measured in F-Stops (f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6, f/8, f/22 etc.)"

3. ISO
"ISO is the level of sensitivity of your camera to available light. The lower the ISO number, the less sensitive it is to the light, while a higher ISO number increases the sensitivity of your camera. The component within your camera that can change sensitivity is called “image sensor” or simply “sensor”. It is the most important (and most expensive) part of a camera and it is responsible for gathering light and transforming it into an image. With increased sensitivity, your camera sensor can capture images in low-light environments without having to use a flash. But higher sensitivity comes at an expense – it adds grain or “noise” to the pictures."
