Small, simple, intimate weddings… sign me up every single time. 🤍

Cartier & Cody said “I do” surrounded by the people who matter most at his family’s beautiful resort, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect afternoon.

This was my first time meeting these two, but from the moment we started, it was so clear how much they light each other up. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and simply enjoyed being in the moment made documenting their day such a joy.

A little glimpse into Gabi & Damon’s beautiful wedding day 🤍

From the quiet moments getting ready to celebrating surrounded by the people who love them most, it was such an honour to capture this chapter of their story.

Gabi was an absolutely stunning bride, and these two made every moment so easy to document. This video is just a tiny snippet of a day that was filled with so much love, laughter, and happy tears.

I’m especially grateful to Gabi & Damon for trusting me to capture their day as I continue learning and growing in wedding videography. Every wedding teaches me something new, and I’m so thankful to be trusted with memories that mean so much.

Some sessions just feel like home 🤍

A cozy rainy day spent soaking in every tiny detail of sweet Skyler and celebrating this beautiful family as they begin their newest chapter together. She is already so incredibly loved.

One thing I’ve learned after photographing so many families? The first year goes by in the blink of an eye. One day you’re memorizing those tiny newborn stretches, and before you know it they’re full of giggles, sitting up on their own, and smashing cake on their first birthday.

If you’re welcoming a little one, let’s tell the whole story. Newborn, six months, and that unforgettable first birthday because these milestones deserve to be remembered just as much as the day they arrived.

One of the biggest questions I get before a session? “What should we wear?” 🤍

Truthfully… styling can make such a difference in the overall feel of your photos. It’s about so much more than finding something cute. Think about the location, movement, textures, colours, and the overall vibe you want your images to have.

And trust me… I completely understand the struggle. Finding outfits that feel like you, that everyone is comfortable in, and that photograph beautifully isn’t always easy. Sometimes it even means stepping a little outside your comfort zone. (I’m thinking about wearing a dress for our own family photos this year, and that’s definitely a stretch for me! 😂)

When I’m planning my own family’s outfits, I always gravitate toward pieces that are comfortable, have beautiful texture, and allow us to move freely. Those little details make such a difference in creating natural, timeless images.

This gorgeous family absolutely nailed it. Their outfits complemented each other perfectly and truly brought the session to life. ✨

I also photographed another incredible couple last night whose outfits completely stole the show… and I seriously cannot wait to share those photos with you.

From bump to baby, it has been such an honour to document this chapter of their story. 🤍

This sweet couple has been an absolute joy to work with, and watching them step into this new season while welcoming their beautiful daughter has been nothing short of heartwarming.

One of my favourite parts of this experience was capturing these moments in not one, but two different homes. It’s amazing how much personality, love, and history a space can hold, and how each home reflected a different part of their journey as a growing family.

There is something so special about an in-home newborn session. The nursery you carefully prepared, the couch where you rock your baby to sleep, the tiny details that make your house feel like home, these are the memories that become even more meaningful with time.

From counting down the days until her arrival to finally holding her in their arms, what a beautiful privilege it has been to preserve these memories for them. ✨

Some families become so much more than clients.

I first met this sweet family when they were expecting their very first little one, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many chapters of their story whenever they made the trip back to the area. Together, we’ve photographed sessions in the rain, snow, sunshine, and everything in between.

This time felt especially meaningful.

Being invited into their home to document the arrival of their newest little love was such an honour. There is something incredibly special about photographing a family in the place where their memories are being made every day. The tiny details, the familiar spaces, and all the love that fills them.

Watching families grow and being trusted to preserve these moments year after year is one of the greatest gifts of this job. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your story and for continuing to choose me to document these precious milestones. 🤍
