I am so so grateful to my amazing clients and for taking me on such incredible adventures ⛰️ this session started out taking the gondola to the top of the mountain, us having the time of our lives going downhill completely oblivious to the fact that we had to hike back up the mountain 😂 but we survived our hike back up (barely) and got some amazing photos 😍🫶🏼🫶🏼

A lot of photographers get stuck believing they need better gear before they can create work they’re proud of.
I know because I believed it too.

What’s funny is that the photos I’m most proud of today were created with the exact same camera and editing setup I had years ago.

The difference wasn’t the equipment.
The difference was experience, repetition, learning from mistakes, and showing up even when I felt like I wasn’t improving.

If you’re constantly comparing your work to photographers online, remember that you’re only seeing a snapshot of their journey—not the years of missed shots, frustration, and learning that came before it.

Don’t let comparison convince you that you’re behind.
Keep creating with what you have.
The camera in your hands is enough to start building the skills that will eventually create the photos you’re dreaming about.
