Is this Ai? Or you must have a good camera! 😂 I started selling prints of my work in person recently and the amount I heard these two sentences was hilarious to me. When people heard the stories behind these shots they couldn’t believe the work that actually goes into these shots
1. These sunbeams happen for a month of the year and the could have to be perfect to let the light through and still light up the clouds
2. This view of moraine lake is south facing so to see the northern lights here requires a huge auroral storm. The road is closed so you also need to ride 20+km for the chance of this shot.
3. I sat in a river for three days with this bear in Alaska..
4. Another south facing shot of the aurora. But with fresh snow on open water during calm conditions.
5. A pair of eagles captured from a kayak in a remote region of an Alaska fjord
6. Two Jack lake at 2am during still conditions for the perfect reflection
7. A combination of a flooded Abraham lake mixed with the perfect fall conditions which only line up every few years I was also standing chest deep in glacial waters for an hour to get this
8. I had this shot planned for 8yrs and waited for 3hrs in -25deg because the elk were finally in the right field with fresh snow under clear skies.
9. Moraine lake under heavy fog and when most would leave I waited for the hope that patches would open up some shots of the most photographed lake in Canada
10 & 11 there’s a few weeks a year when the birch trees in this field have leaves and I spent hours looking for the perfectly balanced composition. The next only happens when it snows sideways and the sticks vertically.
No these aren’t ai 😂
Yes I do have a very good camera
