Slowly getting caught up now that I’m starting to feel better (more pride content soon 👀), and I realized I forgot to share the rest of these fog photos from the spring! It’s been a goal for a while now to do equine fine art photos in the fog (the weather just hadn’t been lining up), and I’ve also wanted to do a fun photo session with Dolce’s rain sheet since I bought it (we love the Canadian Horsewear line from !). Getting to combine both into one extra fun session was amazing 🤩

Happy pride 2026! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Normally I get 2 models for my pride project every year, but with the way things are currently, I ended up with only 1 model this year. We made the most of it and had a great photo session! Thank you to everyone who has modelled for this project, from the first year to now. I created Pride Horses to be a celebration of LGBTQ+ equestrians, and I feel like that’s been very successful. 😊

Pride is year round, not just June! 🌈🦄

Model calls are back for 2026! This is take 2 for this year since the algorithm buried the original post. The original/proper model call is in the comments.

I’m looking for 2 models (and their horses!) who like to party in June (if you know what I mean), and are located within 45 minutes of Newmarket. Bring your own props, or borrow from my collection (large flags, mini flags, ribbons, cape).

Models will receive a free 30 minute photo session and 3 free digital photos, with the option to purchase bonus digital photos and/or prints (no pressure, I just know that sometimes picking a favourite is hard, l’ve felt the struggle!)

These photos will be used on my social media and website, so you must be comtortable with your photos being shared.

When applying, please let me know your age (anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian’s permission and be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the photo session), location (the town your barn is in is fine), and your availability (specifically for the first 2 weeks of May).

I’m looking to do these photo sessions during the first two weeks of May ideally.

Pride model calls are back for 2026!

This is the fifth year of my pride project, and I can’t wait to see what this year brings.

A bit about me: I’m a q***r + non-binary photographer and equestrian. I created this project as a way to give back to the community and meet other LGBTQ+ equestrians (l’ve had a chance to meet many wonderful people!)

I’m looking for 2 LGBTQ+ models (and their horses!) who want to show their pride, and are located within 45 minutes of Newmarket. Bring your own props, or borrow from my collection (large flags, mini flags, ribbons, rainbow cape).
