Back at the skatepark tonight, but this time with Finley and his mom, Meghan.

From the second we booked this session, Finley was in charge. He picked the theme, chose his outfit, brought the props, and showed me exactly what he wanted to do. My job was just to keep up.

I think that’s the secret.

When kids get to lead the session instead of being led through it, they stop performing and start being themselves. That’s when the real moments happen.

That’s what Summer Story Sessions are all about. Following their lead, celebrating the things they love right now, and capturing memories that feel like them. ❤️
