From meeting on the school bus years ago to standing together as husband and wife.

I photographed Chanel’s grad years ago, and getting to document this next chapter for her and Jake was such a full-circle moment. A Thanksgiving wedding filled with autumn colour, sentimental details, warm embraces, and two people who never seemed to get tired of being close to one another.

I had honestly forgotten how much I LOVED this session.

Looking back through Renita + Nathan’s images reminded me why I’ve never wanted engagement sessions to feel like a collection of perfectly posed photographs. The best ones happen when I have the chance to see who you actually are together…the way you laugh, the way you look at each other, the places that feel like home, the little bits of personality that make your relationship yours.

For Renita + Nathan that meant prairie fields, cowboy boots, cattle, their sweet pup, a little playfulness and a whole lot of that quiet “I choose you” kind of love.

This is the part of photography I care about most: paying attention.

Because you’re busy living it. I’m there to notice it.

Don’t mind if I do. 💍

Quinn & Kourtney’s autumn wedding was the kind of day where every detail felt intentional, beautifully considered and completely them. Terracotta bridesmaid gowns, classic navy suits, the most gorgeous fall florals and Estevan showing off in every shade of autumn.

Esteran Flower Crew absolutely understood the assignment with those rich, warm, textural blooms. Add in the thoughtful details from Euphoria, Sweet Cheeks Bakery and their talented vendor team, and this was one seriously beautiful celebration.

But beyond the style, what I loved most was them. The way they just know each other…the little looks, the hand-holding and that quiet ease between two people completely invested in one another.

They chose to do things their own way, with a first look, portraits before the ceremony and a little sunset time together once the day had settled.

And of course, Georgie was a part of it all. 🐾

A day full of colour, connection and so many little moments worth remembering. 🤍

This wedding 💛 1 million things to love about it. I need double the amount of slides to cover it all!

From Ukrainian traditions passed down through generations, butter yellow bridesmaids dresses, a $20 wedding-day weather spell, tear-jerker vows from these two high school sweethearts and one seriously EPIC dance party…every part of this celebration was truly them.

I loved getting to document not just how Zack + Karyna’s celebration looked, but also how it all felt. I truly cannot get enough of their-passion-for-each-other and this day!

Renita + Nathan’s wedding day was intimate, intentional, completely their own…and a little bit wild.

Private vows in the cabin, prairie winds, a tornado warning and a storm that sent us all running for cover after taking epic portraits with the moody clouds as our backdrop…their day unfolded in a way none of us could have planned.

And through all of it, the way these two look at each other says everything.

Six years, two beautiful children, a whole lot of history…and now this. 🤎

Colby + Brittney’s wedding day held so much joy, so much meaning, and more than a few moments that brought me to tears behind my camera. From a sun-soaked ceremony overlooking Kenosee Lake at the Chalet to sunset portraits, a wildly fun bridal party and an emotional tribute to a Dad who was deeply missed…this was a celebration that could only belong to them.
