Okay, where the heck has August gone?! Anyone else feeling like it should still be June?

This past month has been bonkers for me. It’s been one of my busiest summers, and I’ve been travelling for at least 60% of the month. I’m hoping to slow down a little bit again in September (especially for my birthday ✨) but still have some availability for those looking for late summer photos 💛

Me: ‘ah, I wish we could get into the lupins’
Emma: ‘I can do that!’

The absolute joy this sweet family gave me during their session is just beyond anything I could explain. The fact they were up for running around on the beach, AND to stop at a little patch of lupins that were still hanging around, was just *shefs kiss*

It meant there was so much variety where I could tell the story of their growing family. I could document the excitement of being at the beach, but also the peacefulness of being surrounded by wild flowers.

I felt so much trust with this session, and as always, I’m honoured 💛

Being invited back to photograph a family year after year is such an honour to a photographer. Not only does that mean they like your work, but they also trust you and it’s confirmation that you’ve made them feel comfortable.

Returning back to the little hobby farm of Cora, Kraig, Luca and Brooke was an absolute dream. The kids remembered me from last year, which made it super easy just to get in and document their glorious home.

I always love hanging out with these guys, and it’s always such a pleasure to photograph them 💛

So, about last night… 🪻

I had SO much fun with Maria and Freyja running around in the lavender. It was such a blissful evening - quiet, sunny and we had the whole place to ourselves.

I’ve also really wanted to dip my toe into some for fantasy whimsical portraits, so a new head piece has been bought and I’m obsessed ✨

I’m so excited to be offering 20-minute Beach Mini Sessions on Friday, 17th July at the beautiful Dunns Beach.

These relaxed sessions are perfect for families, couples, maternity, or anyone wanting to capture a little piece of summer. We’ll spend 20 fun, easy-going minutes together, focusing on genuine smiles, cuddles, laughter, and all the moments in between.
