A portrait of artist and friend Prinx Lydia ( in bridal drag 🤣).

The base layer is a wet cyanotype using a sunflower leaf, red dye, baking soda, vinegar which was double exposed with a layer of photo transfers I had printed off.

Then a little painting, a little stitching and a little glueing to finish it off.

Anyone interested in a portrait of their own?

LISAAAAAA!!!

Lisa is a multidisciplinary artist who can pretty much turn anything into art (don't get me started on what she can do with cardboard).

Check her out Lisa Franklin

Another transfer attempt!

This one ripped while I was separating it from the backing. Luckily, only an ear was lost in the process and the rest stayed intact! It was the perfect opportunity to play around with the transfer and create some wrinkles around the outside.

The cyanotype paper was exposed with nasturtium leaves...the purrrfect shape for a cat to perch on.

First emulsion transfer on cyanotype! A lil tricky but a lot of fun!
