🕊️❤️Today, I’m sharing the Durham College Justice Games photos, but this time they mean so much more to me. This is my way of honoring my hero, Tyrone Magbitang.
He was not only a friend, but one of the greatest sources of inspiration in my life. He showed me what kindness, empathy, and true selflessness looked like. He was the embodiment of integrity, someone who respected every human life, every animal, and everything around him. He loved with his whole heart, and he had a way of making everyone around him want to become a better person.
He was the kind of man who inspired me to give more, care more, and live more intentionally. He constantly reminded people to keep moving forward, one step at a time, and to truly live life.
Tyrone is, without a doubt, one of the most incredible people I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
Looking through these photos today breaks my heart. Without even realizing it, he became one of the reasons I fell in love with documenting the people who dedicate their lives to serving others. His passion, his character, and the way he carried himself inspired me more than he will ever know.
Tyrone, I still cannot believe you are gone.
I miss you. I love you amigo. Thank you for every pep talk, every laugh, every conversation, and for believing in me. Thank you for showing me what a genuinely good human being looks like. It was truly one of the greatest honors of my life to capture these moments of you doing what you loved.
I promise I will never stop remembering the incredible person you were.
