Last Tuesday, July 14, my family and I lost my dad to a lung infection as a result of a weakened immune system and the effects of battling pulmonary fibrosis for 13 years. Due to immune suppressing medication to treat his rheumatoid arthritis, he developed a unique form a pneumonia and his lungs just weren't strong enough. As a family, we decided it was time to let Dad finally rest from his fight.

This man was everything; the kindest heart, most resilient, enormously adventurous, extremely loving and loyal. Because of his stubbornness and drive to solve problems, he battled not one, but three life altering diseases. And although somewhat reluctant to accept the mortality of his lung disease, his inquisitive nature, positive mindset and pursuit of being the exception allowed him to live many "extra" years with us.

To all my followers and friends, losing my dad has been devastating for me. I have decided to take a short break from my work. I will keep all current bookings for August, and start taking new bookings again in September.

Thank you everyone for your patience and kindness.
