Some trips just stay with you. 🍋🥂🍕🇮🇹
I’ve been sitting with these for a while and feeling really grateful for this one.
I’ve known Sammy for years, we play soccer together 🫶 So to fly to Italy for her and Mitch’s elopement honestly meant a lot to me. It didn’t feel like showing up to work. It felt like I just got to be there with my friends for something really important.
And I was so excited for them. Like truly. This was the trip of a lifetime, and getting to witness it and be part of it in this way was really special.
We met up for drinks the night before, which already made everything feel so easy and familiar. And then the next day we wandered around Positano together. It was busy everywhere you looked, but we just took it as it came. Spritzes in hand, stopping for a lemon sorbet, weaving through little streets, just lingering wherever the day pulled us.
We ended up back at their hotel that night with champagne and pizza, tired in the best way, just talking through the whole day and laughing about it all.
I keep coming back to how lucky I am to get to do this. To be there for moments like this, for people I care about, in places like Italy… I’ll never take that for granted.
Forever grateful I got to be part of this one for these beautiful humans 💖
